Getting to know Susan Nso

It's been said that life is hard, and even when it is easy, it's still rather hard. Try as we may to bear the weight of life's tribulations, we can sometimes find that patience, steadfastness, and sheer willfulness are simply not enough to quell the uneasiness that comes with such challenges. This is where I come in. My name is Susan Nso, and I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. I am passionate about helping people with their mental health. Working as a nurse, I've quickly come to realize that mental wellness is one of the cornerstones of well-being. Whether at home, at work, with family, or with friends, our emotions and perceptions set a course for who we will be during every moment. As a provider, my priority is to make a difference in my patients' lives through a holistic approach. That approach encompasses the key mental, physical, social, and environmental factors that impact a patient's well-being. In support of that goal, I listen to patients' concerns actively, build strong relationships with patients, and involve them in the decision-making process. Much more, I believe that empowering patients with knowledge and skills encourages better overall self-care and addresses potential barriers to effective treatment. As a fervent advocate of mental health, I work diligently to provide patients with the best care possible. I provide hope through medications and counseling, and you can anticipate experiencing individualized care based on your needs. I look forward to working with you!
