Getting to know Susan RIvieccio

I have been working in the mental health field since 1996, got my Master's degree in 1997 and have been licensed for 8-years. I have worked in a variety of settings including non-profit, residential in patient and a psychiatric hospital. My passion is working with adults and elders who are experiencing anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, life transitions and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Rather than assume I already know what is best for you, I begin with, "I don't know what I think I know." I lean toward somatic and self-discovery therapy approaches. I have been Certified in Brainspotting since 2017. I focus on helping adults and elders who feel like their lives feel smaller, less joyful or stuck with no clear way forward. I offer a supportive place to begin finding your way again.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You can expect sessions with me to be collaborative. I bring in experiential and creative interventions that often allow a different viewpoint to help move past a stuck point. i am someone who will meet you where you are as you begin to reconnect with your authentic self.
