“Dr. Sue was highly professional, efficient, and clearly very knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend her. The stuff though were unfriendly and communicated in a dismissive and, at times, contemptuous manner. They were not willing to provide clear explanations to help me understand the paperwork or procedures, and when I simply asked why I was required to sign a specific form, my question seemed to be taken as an affront.
There was also a significant amount of paperwork to sign, including forms stating that I would be responsible for a co-payment if a particular procedure were performed by the doctor. I found this concerning because, as a patient, I believe I should be informed before any procedure is performed whether it will result in an additional cost and what that cost may be. I cannot reasonably be expected to sign a document accepting financial responsibility without first being given a clear explanation of the circumstances under which I would be charged.”

About Dr. Susan Seo
Susan Seo, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Dermatology team. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University and completed residencies in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Seo’s practice experience includes dermatologic care for adult and pediatric patients. She also practices internal medicine as a faculty hospitalist in New York City. Dr. Seo is recognized in her field for her excellence in clinical practice, teaching, research, and mentorship by organizations including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the Arnold P.
