About Dr. Susan Seo
Susan Seo, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Dermatology team. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University and completed residencies in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Seo’s practice experience includes dermatologic care for adult and pediatric patients. She also practices internal medicine as a faculty hospitalist in New York City. Dr. Seo is recognized in her field for her excellence in clinical practice, teaching, research, and mentorship by organizations including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, from which she received its Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. She has been published in scientific journals and has presented at national professional meetings.

She is wonderful; completely thorough. A year and a half ago, I went to a doctor because I was concerned about a mole. The doctor scoffed it off and said it was nothing.
Dr. Seo, however, saw it and immediately took it off. I'm waiting on my results and pray it's nothing.
Had I even suspected the other doctor was wrong, I would have gotten a second opinion, but they seemed so sure of themselves.
I'm thankful Dr. Seo took immediate action and only wish I'd seen her sooner.

She is very intelligent! But significant wait time, with others in the waiting room also complaining of lateness. Bedside manner needs work; did not feel fully listened to, instructions and information given not satisfactory. Rushed through appointment.

Dr. Seo was awesome! She was friendly, understanding and informative in addressing my issue. I truly appreciated her expertise and her bedside manner. I had previously seen two other dermatologists in the past and I wasn’t pleased with the care and attention I received by those providers. I’m happy that my experience with Dr. Seo was completely different.
