Susanne Lockhart, MD Dr. Susanne Lockhart, a board certified dermatologist, has been in private practice in North Dallas since 2000. She particularly enjoys having the opportunity to treat patients of all ages. She evaluates and treats a variety of general dermatological conditions including (but not limited to) anything from acne, eczema, psoriasis, birthmarks, moles, and rashes to diagnosing and treating skin cancers including melanoma. Her empathetic nature and ability to quickly arrive at the correct diagnosis draws patients to her. Dr. Lockhart received her B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A & M University in 1991. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She graduated from medical school in 1996 with honors (top 10% in her class) and was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Lockhart completed her internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Her dermatology residency training was performed at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she served as chief resident. She completed her dermatology training in 2000. Dr. Lockhart spends most of her time with her family including teenage twins Cole and Ella and husband Jim. Her favorite activities include anything active or outdoors! Hiking, snow skiing, running, yoga, or taking the family Goldendoodles to the dog park. As a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Lockhart supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the importance of early breast cancer detection. Dr. Lockhart is currently accepting new patients.
