About Suzanne Rogers

"This provider is not licensed in the state of CT, MA, MD, IN, OK, PA, TN, WA, HI, MT, VT,NY "Suzanne Rogers is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience in performing individual consultations on a wide range of health-related topics, such as diabetes, weight management, heart health, chronic kidney disease, cancer prevention, plant-based nutrition and many more. She has a Master's degree in Education in Health Promotion and is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional. She uses evidenced based information and a whole person perspective when making lifestyle recommendations to help prevent, treat, and sometimes reverse, chronic conditions. When it comes to nutrition, I believe in starting with where the person is at in their health journey and making small changes over time. This is about progression and not perfection. I believe a healthy meal plan should be enjoyable, sustainable, nourishing, filling and energizing. In addition to working towards a healthy dietary pattern, I will address physical activity level, restorative sleep, stress management and the importance of positive social interactions. The goal is to weave together these various factors into a healthy lifestyle that helps a person feel their best and thrive. I will ask many questions during the initial consultation to obtain an overall picture and learn more about you. I will want to address past medical history, current eating patterns, physical activity level, amount and quality of sleep, stress level and your "why" for making lifestyle changes. We will then work together to create a plan with individual SMART goals starting with what works best for you. I will be there to offer support along the way. Making lifestyle changes is a journey. It's important to allow for compassion and forgiveness for imperfections and to celebrate the successes along the way!
