Dr. Dev is a board-certified psychiatrist providing care to adults ages 18 and older. She is a compassionate provider, committed to delivering high-quality care. Dr. Dev received her psychiatric training in adult psychiatry from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at UPMC and Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has several years of experience treating patients of all ages. She spent 15 years working with active-duty service members, their families, and children at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, both inpatient and outpatient. She also supervised medical students and residents. After leaving Fort Belvoir, she worked briefly for Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group before joining Inspire Behavioral Health. Dr. Dev possesses extensive experience in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. She believes in working with patients in partnership, actively listening to their concerns, and identifying the best treatment options for each individual patient. Her goal is to provide evidence-based treatment and help patients achieve maximum reduction of symptoms with the fewest medication side effects. Her philosophy is combining judicious use of medications with holistic approaches like stress reduction, mindfulness practices, psychotherapy, and behavior modifications in order to offer the best outcomes. Dr. Dev is available for in-person appointments at the Fairfax location as well as telemedicine appointments.
