About Dr. Taesun Byun

Dr. Byun is a Board Certified Chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Maryland. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Byun earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Sogang University, one of South Korea's most prestigious universities. After working for 10 years as a chemical engineer, Dr. Byun decided to become a chiropractor so he could spend his life helping free people from their pain. He graduated as summa cum laude (top 1% of his class) from Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, IA, the foundation chiropractic school in the United States. Dr. Byun founded Palmer Chiropractic Clinic in 2001, and since then has been in private practice serving residents in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. Dr. Byun's passion is to see his patients maximize their potential by helping them reach optimal health. He continues to attend seminars about the latest chiropractic technology and research, and pursues to expand his knowledge of automobile accidents with an emphasis on analyzing, treating, and properly documenting car accident injuries. He has also had additional training and certification in the evaluation and treatment of disc herniation and scoliosis. He is always seeking ways that will allow him to serve his patients with the best care possible!
