After completing a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell, Dr. Kessel went on to receive fellowship training in sports and spine medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York where she was Chief Fellow in 2011. Dr. Kessel’s research has been extensively published and she has earned many awards for excellence in her field. She has given numerous scientific presentations at leading universities, hospitals and national conferences.
