What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a compassionate, patient-centered approach focused on understanding your individual needs and goals. I take the time to listen and ensure that you feel heard, supported, and respected throughout your care. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work together to develop a treatment plan that feels right for you. During your initial visit, we will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation and discuss your symptoms, history, and concerns. From there, we will explore treatment options, including medication management when appropriate, and create a plan tailored specifically to you. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and confident in your care. I welcome both adults and children and strive to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible from the very first visit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation where we discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, and overall goals for treatment. I take a thorough and thoughtful approach to ensure we fully understand what you’re experiencing before making any recommendations. During this time, I will ask questions and give you space to share openly at your own pace. Based on our discussion, we will review possible diagnoses and develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapy or other supports when appropriate. Follow-up visits are focused on monitoring your progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and ensuring you feel supported throughout your care. My goal is to make each visit structured, comfortable, and centered around your individual needs.
