Tamila (Mila) Kadyr-Akhunova, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from William Paterson University. She began her career as a registered nurse at Valley Hospital, working on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical unit caring for medically complex patients.

I had a really positive experience with Kadyr-Akhunova, APRN, RN. From the moment I arrived, she was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. She took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand.
I especially appreciated how thorough she was during the visit. She asked thoughtful questions and made sure I felt comfortable with the care plan moving forward. Her bedside manner was excellent, and I felt respected and heard throughout the entire appointment.
It’s not always easy to find a provider who combines clinical knowledge with compassion, and Kadyr-Akhunova, APRN, RN truly does both. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring healthcare professional.

Mila was courteous, took time to listen to my concerns and methodically came up with a plan that was tailored to my circumstances. She was thorough and explain things in detail. You can tell that she actually cares about her patients. It’s rare to find someone who is willing to go who is willing to go the extra mile these days.
