Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
2501 Hayden Rd, Ste 103, Scottsdale, AZ
Nightingale is a growing private solo practice built on years of diverse clinical experience and a deep commitment to holistic mental health care. Although my practice is young, my work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner began in 2009 after graduating from the Yale School of Nursing. From 2009 to 2024, I had the privilege of serving in a wide variety of settings: state mental health facilities in Georgia, community agencies across Arizona, psychiatric emergency departments, and even the correctional system. I truly have “seen it all,” and each environment taught invaluable lessons that aren't always taught in text books. I met people from every walk of life and expanded my understanding of culture, resilience, and the many ways mental health shows up in people’s lives. I was able to treat peri/postpartum depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. I bring all of these experiences to Nightingale Psychiatry—because they shape the care I provide and the compassion I extend to every patient. At Nightingale Psychiatry, we take an evidenced based and holistic approach to mental well-being, recognizing that mental health is connected not only to physical health, but also to environment, support systems, nutrition, and spirituality. Our psychiatric evaluations explore each of these areas alongside your mental health needs. We understand that not everyone requires medication. However, if medication is appropriate, Nightingale is able to initiation and management of psychotropic medications. At Nightingale, we also understand the importance of therapy, which is why we also offer eclectic therapy and life-coaching approaches to support your growth in other meaningful ways. Every person’s path is unique. That’s why each patient receives an individualized treatment plan designed to adapt to the twists and turns life may bring. Let Nightingale Psychiatry walk with you on your journey to well-being and a healthier you.
