I’ve never felt like I wasn’t a number with the previous pcp’s that I’ve tried in the past in NY and I felt immediately at home with her. They were quick to see me and she listened to evwry thing I had to say and also gave me advice/referrals since she has three kids of her own. It was probably the best experience I’ve ever had for an annual! I’m feeling so much better to be in her care for future.”

About Dr. Tania Sheikh
Tania M. Sheikh, M.D. is a highly esteemed healthcare professional who believes in clinical excellence and has been delivering patient-centered medical services since 2003. With more than 17 years of tried and true experience, she takes her job as a means to assist people with the passion and sympathy of a dedicated professional.
She graduated from Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College in Bangladesh and later entered private practice in the United States. With the aim to ensure that each patient receives holistic and personalized care, she is currently working as an attending physician at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center and also affiliated with Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Medical Center, Northwell Health. She completed her residency from Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Super friendly & easy to work with doctors office. I waited very little from the moment I was registering as a new patient to be called in to see the doctor. I didn’t feel rushed during my visit and I really love the efficiency of the office. The nurse taking my vitals set me up for a follow up appointment without me having to go back up to the front desk. These little conveniences are much appreciated!

I have been trying to find a doctor who I can trust and be there for me when I need assistance concerning my health. I can definitely say I found the doctor for me. Dr. Tania Sheikh was very attentive to my needs and really explain things thoroughly and calmly. I love her availability in the afternoon and on weekends which is great because I'm a teacher and it can be hard to find doctors who are available after work.
