My name is Tanner Koon and I am a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Originally from Western North Carolina, my family and I have planted our roots in the upstate of South Carolina. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 2019 from Western Carolina University. I spent the first four years of my nursing career as an emergency department nurse.
I continued working in the emergency department setting after earning my Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) degree in 2023.
While I love the excitement of emergency medicine, I have a passion for optimal health that I can now provide through a holistic approach to primary care and integrative medicine. I am excited to meet new patients and assist them in leading healthier lives.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Allie, and our daughters names are Lydia and Nelly. We are active members of Palmetto Hills Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville. I enjoy playing golf, being outdoors, cooking, and reading.

I have been sick for thirteen years and seen over a dozen doctors and tried over 100 medications or treatments. During this time I progressively got sicker and sicker. I’ve been treating with Tanner for almost a year and he has helped me more than all other doctors combined. He thinks outside the box and gives me options for treatment explaining all pros and cons. He’s willing to listen to my ideas and answer any questions I have. He and all of the ProHealth staff are amazing!
