About Dr. Tanuj Palvia
Dr. Palvia is a recognized leader and specialist in regenerative medicine and non-surgical orthopedics. He is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed his anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Palvia then completed his Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the Center for the Study and Treatment of Pain at NYU. There, he developed his expertise in diagnostics and minimally-invasive advanced fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided procedures for the treatment of tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints, and muscles.
Dr. Palvia is one of the few physicians in the world with extensive experience in the clinical application of adult stem cells for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He believes in an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach, and with his ‘4 Phases of Care’ strategy is able to tailor treatment plans to patients’ specific needs. Those phases are Relief, Strengthening, Wellness, and Regenerative Care. He is dedicated to holistically alleviating patients’ pain and suffering while improving their functionality and quality of life.
Dr. Palvia grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, with roots in India. He is fluent in Hindi. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. When possible, he loves to explore everything New York City has to offer.

Absolutely fantastic. Had to get a cortisone shot and was ready to scream the house down Babece! The man is a maestro. He injected, I was still bracing and he was done. No pain! Call him now!!! Call this Dr. ASAP for pain Mgmt.

Very professional and clean environment! He has fixed my herniated disc issue due to my constant dead lifts at the local gym. Very clear and communicative doctor. Also, the MA's were super helpful!

I can't recommend Dr. Palvia highly enough! He treated me for a herniated disc and was thorough, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the process. His bedside manner is excellent—he takes the time to listen, explain treatment options, and make sure you feel comfortable with every step.

Good visit. Waited a little bit extra. Normally no issues but was happy as no entry before a procedure The MD was exceptional. Procedure OD I can tell when without a hitch. The before and after care was not intrucive but attentive. Hence respect was paramount. All in all, great care and attentive!

My visit was extremely informative. I was given a detailed explanation w/ complete steps on the next plan of action. I was met with great bedside manner and compassion. Dr. Palvias medical assistant Anabell was also an excellent, knowledgeable resource. I couldn't recommend them more.

I had PRP injections for knee pain. The results surpassed my expectations. Dr Palvia thoroughly explained the procedure ahead of time and answered all questions and concerns. He was considerate & kind (& followed up personally making sure I was comfortable during my recovery. Entertaining for more PRP for my hands!
