As someone who identifies as a Millennial, I can whole heartedly say I understand the challenges that we have been faced with over the past 25 years. Amidst ongoing changes in technology, social media pressures and an ever changing and divisive political climate, I truly empathize and share in your experience; add a full time job, parenthood (also a full time job!), and the complexities of relationships in life, it is absolutely understandable that you might find yourself here, ready to ask for help. I am also a recent Breast Cancer survivor. This is a diagnosis that seems to be increasingly prevalent in society today. As a Mom of 3 young children, working full time, with no genetic history indicating the potential or possibility, please know I understand the emotional and physical rollercoaster of this illness. I empathize with anyone experiencing this challenge firsthand, as well as those supporting a loved one facing it. I would be happy to hold your hand through that experience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I draw from various modes of therapy, including Object Relations Theory, which explores the ways in which early relationships/experiences influence our current patterns of behavior. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which identifies how your thoughts impact your behaviors. I will work to help you better understand yourself, to help promote feelings of self worth and deservedness. My hope is to enhance your self perception which can contribute to meaningful changes both internally and within your relationships. I have 16 years of experience working with children and adolescents, individual adults, couples and families. I’ve offered therapeutic support in Psychiatric Day Treatment, School Based and Outpatient settings. I am also a Certified Case Manager. Many of my clients report feeling seen and heard as a result of my calm, compassionate, insightful and collaborative approach. I love to listen to understand, and offer a safe space to talk, learn and grow.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consult to discuss presenting concerns and determine appropriateness of fit. A 60 minute intake session can then be scheduled at which time an Assessment is completed and Treatment Goals identified. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes. Primarily offering Telehealth, with In-Person availability on Tuesdays at this time.

Initial session: $225 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $190-215 for 50 minutes

  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
