Tara Arevalo is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She attained her FNP from Duke University and her PMHNP from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
She is driven by her love of the healthcare profession, helping people, and with her empathetic nature, she remains steadfast in her abilities and passion.
She is also a proud U.S. Army veteran; Tara served during Operation Enduring Freedom before she decided to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Tara’s passion for teaching is evident in her practice. She believes each client is the expert on their own life, and she is simply guiding them to access their fullest potential. She looks at the whole client.
Tara is a firm believer that if the patient really understands the treatment plan and why they are taking medications, then together the path forward can be achieved.
