About Tara Duquette

Tara Duquette, PA-C attended the Touro College and University System in New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2000. Shortly after graduation, she returned to Florida and began practicing as a Physician Assistant in a dermatology practice in Sarasota, FL. Tara has continued her work in dermatology for over 22 years, expanding her skills to include surgical and cosmetic treatments. She is committed to providing the most up-to-date, high-quality dermatological care while remaining relatable and compassionate to her patients. In her free time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She is married and supports her two teenagers as they pursue their goals of becoming college athletes. As a new patient, I was not impressed by this office as a first timer to a dermatology practice. The front desk, Teresa, was not organized and not a clear communicator. Hannah, who took me back, was professional and kind. Tara came in. I felt she did not listen to my issues and bypassed what might’ve actually caused my reaction. Very passive aggressive tone I do not need in someone giving me “advice”. Would not return to this practice for future needs.

From ten staff in the front office to the doctor! It was a amazing experience, VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION! The doctor was very helpful and didn’t just diagnose me with some type of condition, She actually did test and did what would be necessary for a first time visit and not knowing what’s wrong with your skin like in my situation and she followed up a 2 week appointment and if the test come back normal and the meds didn’t work we will go another route with more intestine testing and options
