About Tara Gilmartin
Tara Gilmartin, MSN, FNP-C, may not have started her career in aesthetics, but she always knew that’s where she’d end up.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in 2011, Tara decided to pursue her Master’s in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University in 2015. She also received board certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
She began working as a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health/OBGYN after graduation, but after having her first child, Tara knew it was time to pursue her passion. It was then that she made the switch to medical aesthetics.
“As an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to provide natural, effective anti-aging treatments to allow patients to age gracefully both in their appearance and in their souls,” says Tara. “I love what I do.”
When she’s not at the clinic, Tara, a Bay Area native, stays busy chasing her young kids (4 and 2), husband, and golden retriever around!
