About Tara Selleck
Tara is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She is committed to delivering thorough, patient-centered and evidence-based dermatologic care. Her interest in dermatology was sparked by a personal connection to skin cancer within her family and solidified through years of hands-on experience in the field. Before pursuing her graduate education, she worked as a medical assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Bala Cynwyd, Penn., where she developed a strong foundation in dermatologic care.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Biology with a Minor in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. She then completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Temple University, where she received comprehensive didactic and clinical training, including a dedicated dermatology rotation.
To advance her expertise, Tara completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, gaining hands-on training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the guidance of leading dermatologists.

Tara was amazing! I have never had a dermatologist before, but I had a terrible outbreak on my face that other doctors could not identify. Immediately, as Tara saw it in person, she knew exactly what it was and it is now a week after seeing her and I am feeling AMAZING. My skin is clearing up and I will be going back to her regularly for check ups and to assist with my eczema (that I never knew o had!) thank you so much Tara for your kindness, wisdom and professionalism!
