Getting to know Dr. Tara Sharodi
I am a licensed psychiatrist who has been passionate about this work since a young age. I am motivated to do the best for my patients in every situation we come across together. It is important to me to be a source of support and knowledge for my patients who may not receive this outside of our appointments. I am eager to provide a safe space for my patients. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Antigua and have received extensive training in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, and ADHD. I believe that a collaborative approach is the best way to find relief in mental health struggles. I look forward to our work together.

AVOID! To put it frankly, Dr. Sharodi is not who you want as your doctor if you are seeking medication to help with your mental health. I’ll share my example and you can do as you’d like.
My first (and only) monthly check-in call was rushed (10 minutes long). Immediately after the call was over, I realized something important that I had forgotten to mention in the 10 minutes. I needed attention regarding a side effect of the medication prescribed.
I reached out to her front desk (she does not speak to patients directly aside from appointments) and they let me know that despite my appointment having just happened, she was unavailable to speak with me. I followed up several times, but she did not call me back for the remainder of the day.
I immediately knew I couldn’t trust her, as this was important and she could not find time for me. I hope this review saves someone else from having similar troubles, as Dr. Sharodi clearly showed she does not care for her patients.
