Prior to attaining her doctorate of optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Dr. Sullivan acquired both a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biochemistry and Biology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health from the University of Winnipeg. During her studies she was recognized for her academic achievements with the U of W entrance scholarship, Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Award and was awarded the University Gold Medal.
