About Dr. Amanda Wiederoder
For self pay patients: Our routine eye exams start at $225. Contact lens evaluations and fittings are additional and start at $115. Medically related visits must be billed to your medical insurance (not vision insurance) and start at $165. We kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment no less than 24 hours prior to your visit. We understand life is full of the unexpected, last minute cancelation and rescheduling without a 24 notice may be subject to a $65 fee. Appointments that are missed without cancellation are considered a “NO SHOW” & will result in a $65 charge.
Dr. Amanda Wiederoder graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of science in physiology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry where she trained at the Dimock Center, Manchester VA Hospital, Indian Health Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Boston Medical Center. Her clinical experience includes primary care optometry, contact lenses, low vision, surgical co-management, ocular disease, and pediatrics. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in picking out frames and figuring out insurance. Dr. Wiederoder was funny, efficient, and professional. She made sure any concerns I had were addressed and that my new prescription was just right.

Good experience, Dr. Wiederoder was straightforward, very knowledgeable, and kind. The Internet was down at the clinic the day I visited and despite that, the staff were lovely and prompt in making everything as smooth as possible.

Great experience for a routine eye exam - the clinician was friendly and did a great job explaining the process, and everything was smooth with check-in and insurance. Also a convenient location right in Harvard Square.
