Getting to know Tari Matsikire

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, I provide comprehensive care to children and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. With a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals across different age groups, I am committed to supporting their well-being. In my practice, I work closely with children, adolescents, and their families to address mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, DMDD, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, schizoaffective disorder, and more. I create a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing their emotions. Through evidence-based interventions and age-appropriate therapeutic techniques, I help children develop resilience, coping strategies, and emotional well-being. Similarly, I provide specialized care to adults, recognizing the complex nature of mental health challenges at different life stages. Whether seeking relief from depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or managing polysubstance dependency (Suboxone Certified), I offer personalized treatment plans tailored to your needs. Through medication management and supportive therapy, I empower adults to regain control over their mental health and enhance their quality of life. By offering my expertise and support to both children and adults, I am dedicated to helping individuals of all ages overcome mental health challenges and thrive. If you or your loved one need professional and compassionate care, I invite you to schedule a consultation with me. Together, we can embark on a journey toward improved mental well-being and a brighter future.

I am dedicated to providing personalized care and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment that promotes healing and growth. Here are some of the key takeaways clients can expect: Individualized Treatment Plans: I understand that each client is unique, with their own set of challenges and goals. Through thorough assessments and collaborative discussions, I develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. This approach ensures that clients receive targeted interventions and strategies designed to address their unique circumstances. Comprehensive Approach: I take a holistic view of mental health, considering biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to a client's well-being. This comprehensive approach allows for a deeper understanding of the client's experiences and fosters a more comprehensive path towards healing and recovery. Empowerment and Support: I strongly believe in empowering my clients to actively participate in their own mental health journey. During sessions, I provide education, guidance, and support, equipping clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions and take control of their well-being. Together, we work as a team to navigate challenges, develop coping skills, and foster resilience. Enhanced Self-Awareness and Coping Strategies: Through therapeutic conversations, I help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering increased self-awareness and insight. Together, we identify and challenge negative patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience. Clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, which empowers them to make positive changes.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
