Dr. Travieso herself was kind when I saw her, but the reason for my visit was for a pilonidal cyst and I put that in the paperwork I filled out online, as well as the ones I filled out in the office. I’m not sure why I was still taken back and seen just to get told they don’t do anything with pilonidal cysts there. Money is already tight as is and I would have appreciated getting told that information prior to being seen so I could have saved my co-pay instead of having to pay them for nothing. It would’ve also been nice to not have wasted gas and time as I live 30 mins from the office. I will say they did give me the number to reach out to a surgeon, which I immensely appreciated, but that could’ve been done over the phone and without cost. I’d suggest to other patients that they confirm their condition can be treated there prior to booking so their time and money isn’t wasted.
