About Dr. Taryn Huizenga
Dr. Taryn Huizenga is a board-certified dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology. Originally from Michigan, she graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University. After completing her internship in internal medicine at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, she returned to Wayne State University to complete her residency in dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Huizenga practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She is an advocate for her patients and specializes in adult and pediatric skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and skin cancer detection and prevention. With an eye for natural aesthetics, she enjoys working alongside her patients to help them feel like the best version of themselves and achieve their cosmetic goals.
