Tatiana Molinar, DNP, specializes in culturally sensitive and holistic medical mental health care. Her practice focuses on accurate diagnoses and expert medication guidance paired with affirming therapy for a diverse clientele, centering folx who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, BiPOC, and disabled.
Dr. Molinar’s approach combines personalized psychiatric medication management with evidence-based therapies like mindfulness and DBT. She also provides comprehensive health education and gender-affirming care. She specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, and studied Holistic Health at San Francisco State University.
Understanding the challenges of seeking mental health support, Dr. Molinar creates a safe, nurturing environment to help clients improve their well-being and achieve personal goals. She offers virtual consultations through Mandala Psyche, and uses active listening to fully address each client’s unique concerns.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Initial Consultation: I start with a virtual consultation to meet the client, understand their concerns, and establish a comfortable rapport. This initial meeting allows me to assess their needs and discuss their goals for our collaboration.
Comprehensive Assessment: I conduct a thorough assessment to accurately diagnose any mental, behavioral, or emotional issues. This involves discussing the client's medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments or medications.
Personalized Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment, I develop a personalized treatment plan that may include psychiatric medication management, if necessary, along with therapeutic approaches like mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other holistic practices tailored to the client's unique needs.
Holistic Support: I offer comprehensive health education, focusing on gender-affirming care, disability accommodations, and other holistic alternatives to support the client's overall wellness.
Ongoing Support and Evaluation: I prioritize active listening and empathy in every session, providing a safe and nurturing space for clients to discuss their progress and any concerns. I adjust the treatment plan as needed based on ongoing evaluations of the client's progress toward their goals.
Empowerment and Goal Achievement: My approach emphasizes empowering clients to improve their wellness and achieve their personal and professional goals, supporting them in creating the life they desire.

I saw her regarding an autism diagnosis and I never felt like I had to convince her my symptoms were valid or like I needed to prove to her I didn't just have anxiety or was overreacting.
When I didn't have my camera on she was perfectly understanding and let me communicate in a way that made me comfortable.
As soon as I told her what I was there for she immediately began working with me on what I needed, just overall very professional and snappy service, very very appreciated :)
