Getting to know Tawakalitu Raji

I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner with over 18 years of clinical experience, holding a Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Regis College. I have extensive experience in both child and adult psychiatry. Over the years, I have treated clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, substance abuse, and many other mental health challenges. I use an integrative and client-centered approach to help clients build strength and clarity of mind to find their purpose. I listen carefully to my clients and encourage them to actively participate in their care. I believe in building strong rapport and providing a safe space where clients feel comfortable expressing their emotional needs. My goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and develop coping skills to manage stressful situations effectively. I provide supportive and compassionate care to promote mental wellness and empowerment.

My role as a psychiatry nurse practitioner is to help you identify options and expand your personal insight through open, focused discussions, and strength-based disclosures. My goal is to work with you to evaluate options that will stimulate positive movement toward optimal wellness and reduce anxiety, alleviate depression, to promote self-awareness and motivation.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
