She treats injuries and deformities of the foot and ankle with both conservative and surgical methods. She has a special interest in sports medicine and sports related injuries while specializing in adult and pediatric flatfoot deformity, hallux valgus deformity, ankle sprains, fractures, plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle arthritis, wound care and diabetic limb salvage. In her free time, Dr. Bergstrom enjoys long distance running, water-sports, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog named Scoobert, and occasionally treating her husband in the office! On the weekends she loves spending time with family and friends at the beach - snorkeling, swimming, and spearfishing or at Lake Keowee, SC where you can find them water skiing, wake boarding and slalom skiing.
