“Taylor is incredible. I’m an adult in my 30s who has been to multiple speech language pathologists throughout my life to try to correct a lifelong speech impediment. Taylor’s tremendous knowledge and intuition to create word exercises for me where I’ll have the best results has led to my best and fastest improvements so far, and given me confidence for the first time in a long time that I’ll be able to fix my speech impediment.”

About Taylor Isaac

As a speech-language pathologist, I love helping people develop their authentic voices. My goal is to improve my clients' lives by helping them become confident, effective communicators. Through highly individualized, holistic, and collaborative services, I strive to promote meaningful communicative development across contexts of daily life. My therapeutic approach and passion for speech-language pathology have been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Through overcoming struggles with self-esteem, I learned the importance of confidence. When I believe in myself, the possibilities are limitless. With pediatric and adult clients, building confidence is invaluable for treatment success and real-life change. Additionally, my late-diagnosed ADHD has significantly impacted my career. Over the past five years, it has been eye-opening to navigate my own ADHD while working with neurodivergent children (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning differences). I uniquely understand many of the struggles and appreciate the strengths of those who are ?wired differently.? I empathize with the neurodivergent experience because I am neurodivergent. I am deeply committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming speech-language therapy and advocating to promote accessibility to social, academic, and professional opportunities. I earned my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University and my Bachelor's degree from Florida State University. Prior to launching Talking with Taylor, I served children and young adults in Miami and New York. While working in Manhattan-based schools for students with communication and learning differences, I received specialized training and supervision. My experiences included interdisciplinary collaboration, parent training, curriculum planning, facilitating peer interactions (e.g., play-based, group collaboration), and leading group learning (e.g., language arts, team building).

Our 3 year old loves going to Taylor! Taylor is incredibly patient, warm and kind and makes sessions fun and engaging. Her helpful tips and suggestions for practicing in between her sessions have further helped make a real difference in our child’s progress.
Finding out our son would be speech delayed at 18 months was a challenge, but Taylor, an exceptional speech pathologist in South Florida, changed everything. Her diligent work has helped him start talking, and she equips us with tools to continue practicing at home. Driving 50 minutes to see her is a testament to the profound difference she's made – giving our family hope and a true partner in our son's success.
My son B had a wonderful experience with Taylor. She helped him with articulation and language. Taylor made the sessions fun and interactive so B always looked forward to seeing her. She individualized the sessions to fit my son's needs and kept him engaged by doing activities geared around his interests. For example, he loved Pokémon at the time, so she made a game out of the cards. Taylor has great tools and ideas that helped my son stay focused. She took extra time at the end of the sessions to give me ideas for practicing in every day life and helping to maximize my son's potential.  It was a pleasure having Taylor work with B, and she is going to start therapy for my daughter in the next few weeks!
