“I have been working with Ms G. For quite a while. The work we've done has been a tremendous help. I was in bad shape when I came on with her. She didn't lie to me or hold my hand. Instead she presented me with the tools and treated me like I was capable and equipped. I didn't think I was. It took me years to see in me what she believes in people. That each person has in them the ability to do it, All they have to do is want it & try. It's been,,6 years. I have a great Life because of my experience with her. ”

Getting to know Teasha Glover

The provider is a "Associate Marriage and Family Therapist" with license number 37FA00026100, practicing under the supervision of a NJ board certified professional therapist licensed to practice in supervision. "Nothing in, nothing out. My philosophy is simple: the results of our work together hinge on the investment you make in yourself. I don’t offer empty promises or quick fixes. Instead, I offer my full, undivided presence and a wealth of experience drawn from years of academic rigor, intensive clinical supervision, and the lived experience of life itself. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA) with a Master’s degree from a dual COAMFTE and CACREP accredited program. This means our sessions are grounded in the highest national standards of clinical excellence. Since 2020, I have helped couples, families, young adults, and parents navigate their most complex seasons. I draw from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based theories—including SFBT, CBT, EFT, and Narrative Therapy—to ensure our approach is as unique as your family dynamic. Beyond the clinical lens, I bring a multidimensional perspective to our work. I have been a Certified Life Coach (#1211) since 2016, specializing in psychologically-based coaching, and a Level II Certified Crystal Healer since 2017. Whether we are deconstructing old patterns or building new ones, I am here to provide the space and the expertise needed for you to yield the results you deserve. If you are ready to put the work in, I am ready to walk that path with you."

What should a new client know about working with you?

What to Expect Working With Me When you step into my practice, we work from a foundational belief: "Nothing in, nothing out." This means that therapy is a partnership where your growth is a direct reflection of the energy and honesty you invest. I don’t offer "magic wand" promises; instead, I offer a commitment to be fully present with you, providing a deep wealth of experience drawn from high-level clinical training, life coaching, and personal life experience. My Style: Direct, Holistic, and Results-Oriented I combine the best of clinical science with a holistic perspective. Here is how that looks in our sessions: The Clinical Side: I use proven methods like CBT (changing thought patterns), Solution-Focused Therapy (finding what works), and EFT (understanding emotional connections). My training comes from a top-tier accredited Master’s program, ensuring you receive care that meets the highest professional standards. The Coaching & Holistic Side: Since 2016, I have been a Certified Life Coach and a Level II Crystal Healer. This allows me to look at your life through a wide lens—not just as a "patient" with a "problem," but as a whole person seeking balance and results. Who I Help I specialize in working with couples, families, young adults, and parents. Whether we are deconstructing old family patterns or helping an adolescent find their voice, my goal is to provide an efficient, modern space where you can see real-world changes. Our First Session In our first meeting, we will discuss where you are and where you want to be. I am here to offer you the tools, the academic expertise, and the clinical supervision I’ve gathered since 2020 to help you get there. If you are ready to put the work in, I am ready to help you yield the results.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Trust the Process You are the Expert In our sessions, the power dynamic is clear: you are the empowered one. While I bring a wealth of clinical experience and academic training, you are the absolute expert on your own life. My role is to offer my full presence and a toolkit of diverse theories—like CBT, SFBT, and Narrative Therapy—to help you yield the results you desire. I encourage you to look closely at what I have to offer and decide if it aligns with your goals. The Decision Period: No Pressure, Just Purpose I believe choosing a therapist is a significant life decision. After our initial meeting, I encourage you to take a week to reflect. I want you to discuss the experience with all vested parties—partners, family, or your own inner circle—to determine if I am the right fit for your journey. The autonomy to move forward rests entirely with you. The First 4–6 Sessions: Building the Foundation If we decide to move forward, we enter a delicate and intricate phase. Typically, the first 4–6 sessions are dedicated to building rapport and gathering information. It is not one-size-fits-all: Your journey is unique, and these initial sessions will differ from person to person. Information Gathering: We use this time to introduce your history, your challenges, and your hopes. Realism: I am realistic about what this process looks like. Change is rarely a straight line, but it is always possible when the work is put in. Your Most Precious Resource Therapy is an investment of resources more precious than gold or platinum: your time, your life experience, and your traumas. You will never get your time back, and I take that reality very seriously. My "nothing in, nothing out" philosophy ensures that we do not waste that time. If you are ready to trust the process and invest in yourself, I am ready to offer the professional and holistic guidance to help you succeed.

Your wellness is the priority. Let’s work together to find a path 1. Insurance Coverage and Out-of-Network Benefits Understanding insurance can be complex, and I am here to help clarify the process. Verification: Before our first session, I encourage you to reach out so we can discuss your specific provider. While coverage varies significantly between plans, we can help you understand what "mental health benefits" look like for your specific policy. Out-of-Network (OON): If I am not an in-network provider for your specific insurance, you may still be eligible for reimbursement. I can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed receipt of services) which you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. 2. Flexible Payment Methods To make the process as seamless as possible, we accept a wide range of payment options. You can securely maintain a payment method on file through our HIPAA-compliant portal for automatic processing. Credit/Debit Cards: All major providers (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Digital Payments: Secure electronic transfers are available upon request. 3. Financial Assistance and Sustainability Life is full of transitions, and I recognize that financial circumstances can change. I offer two primary programs to keep care accessible: Sliding Scale Fees: For those facing significant financial hardship or who are currently uninsured, I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots. These fees are determined based on household income and individual circumstances. If you feel you may qualify, please bring this up during our initial consultation or at any point during our work together. Installment Payment Plans: If you have an outstanding balance or are undergoing a high-frequency intensive treatment phase, we can arrange a structured payment plan. This allows you to break down the cost of care into manageable monthly or bi-weekly installments, ensuring your progress is never interrupted by a single invoice.
