The doctor rather understanding and providing help was very unclear and was asking questions which we already told. She didnt have any solution or fix. We provided all the information before itself but again repeated the same thing and she was like in the first appointment she cant do anything and could still help in the second appointment.

This provider didn’t seem very attentive to my concerns. I brought up issues and she told me she “doesn’t typically provide prescriptions for that” but didn’t give me any genuine solution to my dietary concerns. I pushed for her to give me a referral to a specialist since she was comfortable sending me away with such a huge concern. She gave me recommendations to providers that weren’t in my network.. I had to do my own research and provide doctors that were in my network yet I was charged for the referral. I’m not sure if maybe she just wasn’t interested in taking me on as a patient but my experience was very poor. I’m a nurse myself and it makes me so sad to encounter providers who have such a genuine lack of concern for issues their patients bring up. No issue brought up by a patient should seem so little to a provider that they’re trusting with their care. I selected this provider because of her high reviews but I wouldn’t recommend and would never step foot in her office again.

This was disappointing to say the least. I got bloodwork done and received the results the next day online, but I have yet to hear anything from the doctor herself (it’s been a full week). I called the office multiple times over the course of several days and was sent to voicemail every time. I left a voicemail that has thus far been ignored as well. They also forgot my medication and dosage despite me providing that information 3 times in-office, once even in writing, and they forgot my pharmacy information, despite that being in my intake paperwork. The first time I got ahold of someone on the phone was today, a full week after my initial appointment. They said nothing about my test results, and the patient portal still says the doctor hasn’t even looked at them. I just cancelled my follow-up because I can’t trust people with this degree of carelessness and disorganization with my health. Do not recommend. Had to make an appointment with another doctor to get proper care.

Dr. Katakam was outstanding. Very thorough and professional. She will be my primary care provider going forward.
Spent an inordinate amount of time filling out forms. I thought that I filled out the forms online before the appointment but then had to fill them out again when I checked in. At the conclusion of the exam I was presented a hard copy of a form with the same information that was on the previous forms.
