What is your typical process for working with clients?
The process begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we discuss your symptoms, mental health history, medical history, current concerns, strengths, and treatment goals. This initial assessment helps me gain a clear understanding of your needs and, when appropriate, establish an accurate diagnosis.
Based on the evaluation, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive counseling, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists, primary care providers, or other healthcare professionals when needed. Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness, addressing concerns, and making adjustments to ensure you receive the best possible care. My goal is to help you achieve meaningful symptom improvement, greater stability, and an improved quality of life.

There were significant connection issues throughout our appointment, which led to a very frustrating experience as I had to rejoin several times. Also, the provider seemed to be conducting our appointment from her car, but I did not ask to confirm. Finally, there was clearly another person in attendance with her, as I could hear her speaking to a third party at times. I'm unsure whether they could also hear the appointment or not. One positive is that she was able to meet quickly and the appointment was conducted efficiently. It met my needs, but I would hope for a better future experience.

I think this doctor is very thorough. She works with you, while also being stern on certain things. All seems to come from genuinely caring about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone. It's been a life saver for me. After 1 month seeing her, my whole life changed to where I could function much better, hold jobs, and just a huge difference from other doctors I've experienced. She listens to me well, and responds with well thought out feedback. You genuinely cannot ask for more from a doctor in her field. When she denies certain requests of mine, it's always for my own best and good answers. She also worked with me my first appointment to get me where I am now. Life is looking up big time for me, and I credit her for a good portion of why my lifes changed these last 3 visits with her. Thank you so much Doctor Ilesanmi. You've been the best and my hope is you'll continue working with me like you have until I'm off this medication entirely.
