Meet our Provider.
Temitope (Temi) Dawodu is a Family Nurse Practitioner who recently received her certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She has been a primary care provider for over 8 years and is now pursuing her passion in psychiatry. Although she recently earned her PMHNP certification, she has been working as a mental health provider for 2 years.
Temi received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2019. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2015 and completed her Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Washburn University in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University.
She was trained at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and in Pediatric and Young Adult Medicine in Saint Paul, Minnesota. All her clinical hours were completed at Pinnacle Mental and Behavioral Health in Edina. Temi has been a nurse since 2007, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner.
She helps patients manage chronic illnesses including depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and other mental health disorders. Temi has worked as a primary care provider at HealthPartners for over 6 years and served as a mental health provider at the Midwest Center for Family and Personal Development for 2 years.
Temi is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She thrives on establishing partnerships with each patient to address their unique needs and enjoys educating patients on how to maintain their health. She works daily to improve the care she provides to the community.
In her spare time, Temi enjoys traveling, exercising, and watching movies.
