Teresita Alicea, MD, is a pediatric physician who has been with Orlando Health Physician Associates since 1995. Well, very good medical consultation. The only thing is that the waiting time for each patient in the office is quite long.
We love Dr. Alicea. She's thorough, caring and a wonderful doctor. We are lucky to have her as our pediatrician.

Doctor Alicea was my sons pediatrician for 20 years and is my daughter's Pediatrician for 14 years. I highly recommend her to family and friends throughout the years when asked who do I recommend for their children or adolescent. She will be greatly missed at the Kissimmee office.
I have had brought all three of my grandchildren to Dr. Teresita Alicea since we moved here 8 years ago. We've always received the best care and the best quality of service. The staff has been extremely kind, and understanding. The doctor listens to al of my concerns. So, I would recommend this practice to anybody. Have a good day.

I think the wait time when calling is like they ask you so many things to schedule an appointment that is too far out. It's practically like calling the government office. 20 minutes to half our and sometimes up to 45 minutes waiting on hold. I think this needs to improve. It didn't use to be this way.
Overall, the experience was good, the doctor and staff were very patient and kind to both my children. There is a problem, however, we can almost never reach them on the phone. When i call i stay on the line for almost 8 minutes just listening to music while on hold. To make the last appointment i had to drive all the way to the doctors to get the appointment made after weeks of trying to call them.

We really enjoy working with Dr. Teresita and all of her staff. They are wonderful people and we love having them as our doctor.
The nurse that we got was very difficult to understand her English and though I speak Spanish my children do not so when she would ask questions they did not understand what she was saying. Also, I wanted to get clarification on wether my second child needed lab work done because that's what I thought the doctor said. I did not get a lab order for him and when I asked another nurse said that's all she saw and that I had to wait for the doctor because she was with another patient. After being there for so long I didn't want to continue waiting so I asked if she could please ask her and email me the lab order and she said it would have to be mailed not emailed and then proceeded to say to get the app and find out myself that way. I tried doing that and the system didn't recognize him and the link didn't work so we were not able to enroll the app for him. At this point I still don't know if he needs lab work or not.
Dr. Teresita is very professional and very kind.
Dr Alicea is the only reason we continue to see her. It's a shame her front desk staff and those that communicate on her behalf are short and dismissive. If she wasn't so amazing her practice would not thrive.

Dr Alicea is very patient, great with kids and parents. She moving her office and we are going wherever she goes. She's one of the best.
My Dr was and always is amazing. What I did not find to be Justifiable was that the inky persons left when we left where the Dr and 1 nurse . The nurse with her was doing last minute room sweeps to ensure they where prepared for the next morning. Dr. Alicea had to write the note for my daughter to miss school due to her diagnosis, walked us to the door to lock up behind us. I by no means feel the Dr is above any other employee however, I do not feel it is in her job description. When she cares for children's needs day in day out, with seemliness love, care, and respect. This would certainly fall under the office staff or office manager position being that the Dr still had to call in our prescription and attend to closing of day business on her Dr. End. I just felt as if that was very inconsiderate of the other employees to run out and leave a client there.
Dr. Teresita Alicea is the best pediatrician we have ever met. She takes her time to see our son and answer all our questions as parents. Thanks. She's the best pediatrician, period. She takes the time with our baby and answer all the questions to us the parents. Thanks.
Dr. Alicea gives me confidence since she makes me feel that she is sure of her work, you can appreciate the respect she has for her work.
