A caring and concerned nurse practitioner, Ms. Tess Lee serves the communities of Maryland and Washington, DC. I booked with the provider b/c my last provider let the practice I was going to. She has a high rating, so I was expecting better. I don't know if I caught her on a bad day, but she was pretty cold, just asked for my medical hx and that it, no other conversation or feedback. I'm not sold on going back. The nursing staff and admins were very friendly and its a clean office

Waited almost 30 minutes in the exam room and she stayed for maybe 5 minutes. She was cold and seemed to just be checking boxes. I will continue searching for a PCP.

The doctor wasn't a straightforward communicator. I didn't understand what she meant and she talked really fast. She was rushing as well. I got what I needed but the care wasn't good. She also didn't understand my needs and misunderstood me. I felt unseen.

I only saw my provider almost an hour a after my stated appointment. While NP Lee was friendly enough, I did not feel like she took me seriously regarding a chronic condition I brought up with her to pursue a reasonable accommodation at my job. She asked minimal follow up questions and suggested that people might just “say anything,” which left me with the impression that she didn’t believe me about my chronic condition. I won’t come back.

Think provider would be good for regular situations. But, she recently became my PCP. As such I feel she should have taken more of an interest in me. I didn’t feel taken care of as a whole person. She was also leaving. So perhaps, that contributed to the rush I experienced.

Dr. Lee is extremely knowlegable and kind. Her office called me ahead of time to make sure my appointment time hadn't changed and to confirm my insurance information. When I got there, it took maybe 20 minutes to get checked-in and I saw Dr. Lee almost immediately once I got assigned a room. She also checked for things I hadn't considered and I cannot recommend her and the practice enough!

This was one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor's office. I made the appointment on ZocDoc. They then changed the appointment without even calling me. So I called them and the lady didn't apologize or anything. I took this time to confirm with her that I was coming to get a pregnancy confirmation. She said they do that. Fine. So I showed up and got signed in. Nice clean waiting area. I got back to see the doctor after getting my vitals taken. The doctor informed me that she could do a urine test and a blood test, but that was really it. She said she dealt with women's health, but not as an OB. So I declined to have her do anything else because treatment would have to stop there. I believe the front desk should have been a lot more up front when I said what I was coming for and asking questions. Instead, I had the displeasure of dealing with the same rude lady who told me it wasn't her fault I picked the wrong doctor and that I declined the tests. I DO NOT recommend this place just based on the front desk staff alone.

Overall, my visit went ok. It did feel kind of rushed through - I was asked what I was there for although I was under the impression that for an annual physical, it was a given. My total time spent with the physician was about 15 mins, if that. Nonetheless, I did have some questions and I felt a little judged based on her responses. I chose this physician based on all the great reviews, especially about their bedside manner and thoughtfulness - I did not have that experience. There was a weird energy given off from the physician - I cannot put my finger on it, but I left feeling uncomfortable and pretty firm on my decision to move forward with another physician in the future.

Such a lovely experience compared to my trauma with previous gynecologist. Dr.Lee was very comforting, knowledgeable, and quick. I didn’t wait long in the office, she listened to my concerns and questions, and explained everything well. Highly recommend!

After a hellish experience with another GYN I made an appt with Tess Lee. She was amazing! She listened to all my concerns and the history of my issue giving me a ton of info on what might be happening and clearly communicated next steps. Her staff was also very pleasant and professional.

I had a great experience during my visit. The staff were all very helpful, and kind. They explained my insurance and copay and let me know what to expect. The woman that took my vitals was very friendly, and personable. When I did meet with Tess Lee, she was very gentle and let me know everything she was about to do before doing it.
