“In and out. Efficient, and thorough cancer exam. Dr. Cervantes looked over my entire body and froze about 6 pre cancer non-issue spots. Dr. Cervantes explained each spot she found and why the skin blemishes I was most concerned with were not cancer but "wisdom spots", a nice way to say an elder person issue. Am very satisfied and highly recommend Dr. Cervantes.”

TESSA CERVANTES, MD
DR. CERVANTES SPECIALIZES IN MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST IN COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY WITH THE GOAL OF ACHIEVING NATURAL RESULTS WITH A COMBINATION OF INJECTABLES, BIOSTIMULATORS AND LASERS.
Dr. Cervantes is a native Texan, originally from the Rio Grande Valley and fluent in Spanish. She has been providing medical and cosmetic dermatology care for Texans for the last 10 years and is excited to bring her skills and high-quality patient care to her own practice.
Dr. Cervantes graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, completed medical school, internship, and dermatology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
She served as Chief Dermatology Resident during her final year in residency and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, as well as presented at several scientific meetings.
Her interests include skin cancer prevention and treatment, both surgical and non-surgical options, adult and pediatric medical dermatology, with a special interest in aesthetic dermatology and skincare. She is excited to continue to provide great medical and cosmetic care to the patients of LIV Dermatology & Aesthetics.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have two young children.
