About Dr. Theo Hodge
Theo Wallace Hodge Jr., MD is an Infectious Disease physician, HIV Specialist, and a Clinical Trials Sub-Investigator and Principal Investigator at Washington Health Institute in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hodge also serves as the HIV Consultant for the Community of Hope (Marie Reed Health Center location) in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Hodge is a graduate of the University of Virginia and its School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University and Washington Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Washington Hospital Center/Washington Veterans Affairs Medical Center both of which are located in Washington, DC. Dr. Hodge has served as sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials on HIV infection in a private ambulatory setting and Principal Investigator most recently of the Discovery Trial (Gilead Sciences).
Dr. Hodge is published within the Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases and has presented his work at national meetings. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of American, the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hodge is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is also certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Dr. Hodge is one of the best doctors I have ever met with. He spent 45 minutes discussing my issues and took the time to help me understand and think of underlying causes.
