This is a full 60-minute one-on-one consultation designed to give you time to work through your questions and history in depth. Patients leave with individualized recommendations and a written plan summarizing next steps after the visit.
The consultation can be useful whether you are just beginning to explore medical weight-loss options, have already done extensive research and want to discuss specific questions, are considering GLP-1 treatment, have struggled with previous approaches, or want a second opinion on your current plan.
We can review what you have tried before, what worked and what did not, medication options, side effects, access or insurance issues, nutrition and lifestyle considerations, and the questions most important to you. If you have relevant laboratory results from the past 12 months, you can submit them before the appointment for review.
When medically appropriate, treatment options may include FDA-approved anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 therapies. Booking a consultation does not guarantee that any particular medication will be prescribed.
If you want ongoing medication management and follow-up, you may choose to continue through the Simply Metabolic membership. There is no obligation to enroll, and the $299 consultation fee can be credited toward membership.
