About Theresa Clearwater
My first job in high school was as a nursing assistant at a local nursing home. That experience inspired me to pursue nursing school, and with each subsequent role in healthcare, I knew I wanted to learn more, do more, and help more people. I earned my Master’s in Family Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, which further deepened my commitment to patient care.
I believe the field of oncology and palliative care is unique because there is no other specialty where such a strong bond and trusting relationship is formed between patient and caregiver. In many ways, my field chose me, and I truly love it.
I connect with my patients by being available and providing empathy, often drawing from my own personal and family experiences. This connection helps me support them through challenging times.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading books by James Patterson, playing computer games, and spending quality time with my family.
My advice to patients is always to stay positive and never give up!

Rude . Arrogant . Disregarded my concerns . Zero eye contact . No exam . Quick to get out , seemed annoyed about my appointment

She was not friendly, didn't physically examine me, didn't asked about the location of my pains or recommend anything for pain relief. She wrote a bunch of lies on my patient visit notes, making it appear that she physically examined me when she never came within 2 feet of me. She walked in the room and sat at the desk with her back to me asking questions about my history with another rheumatologist. It was scary for me. The one thing she did right was order blood work and x-ray. I know I'll never go back to her, I don't trust her and I'm not going to give her the chance to hurt me, I've been through too much with Doctors.

Been going to Dr Clearwater for about little over a year now. She has been very thorough, kind, helpful, and always looking for a solution. She prepares and stays ahead when it comes to testing and referencing. I recommend!
