About Theresa Denison

Having moved to Colorado in 1999, Theresa Denison earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She then completed her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Theresa is a board-certified physician assistant with a special interest in patient education, chronic disease prevention, and acute injury. "I have always had a passion for understanding the intricacies of a process-how it works and why. Through medicine, I am able to apply this passion to an illness or injury. I enjoy working with my patients to help fully explain their diagnosis and treatment plan. This personalized approach to medicine helps the patient be involved and in control of their health goals." In her free time, Theresa enjoys the outdoors and the 300 days of sunshine that Colorado sees each year. She likes camping, hiking, exploring new places, and has recently taken up skiing.
