About Therese Hejazinia
Therese Hejazinia, FNP-BC, APNP, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner serving the women of Lake Bluff and Grayslake, Illinois, at Westmoreland ObGyn Associates.
Teri completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University in 2003, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working in women's health for 15 years, she completed her Masters in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018.
Teri is passionate about providing compassionate and thorough care to women and families across the life span. Her particular interests include education and counseling women in preventive care, adolescent female health, and contraception.
At Westmoreland ObGyn Associates, Teri enjoys supporting and empowering women through all walks of life and sees herself as a partner in their healthcare. She especially enjoys building relationships and working with young women to help them as they establish their healthcare goals and needs.
In her free time, Teri enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, crafting and reading.

Doctor was amazing and talked me through every step. She made me very comfortable and safe. The only slight downside was the older secretary was fairly rude and made me more anxious to start the appointment than I already was. Luckily, the second the doctor was with me it wasn’t a problem.

Teri was outstanding! I connected with her immediately. She made me feel comfortable and my Pap smear was done quickly and efficiently. She took time to answer all my questions and was knowledgeable regarding menopause.
I highly recommend her.

She was nice, but didn’t ask me any questions about my needs. Proceeded to proscribe me a birth control I cannot take because of a heart condition I have and because I smoke. She would’ve known this if she asked any questions about me, but she did not do that. I’m very upset with my visit and will not be going back. It didn’t take long, but I didn’t get the help I needed. I feel as though she doesn’t care about her patients and only cared about the paycheck.

The office staff were great! They were welcoming and direct. I was brought to the back right away and the NP didn’t take more than 5 minutes to get to me. I was in and out within 35min and at no point did I feel rushed or like I wasn’t being heard. Overall a great experience!
