Saw Dr. Carr for the first time today. No wait time, very friendly staff, and quick service. Had foot pain, did an X-ray and an ultrasound. Was extremely thorough and found the root of the problem. Explained what was going on in a very digestible way and took action. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member

Dr. Thomas C. Carr has been in private practice in Chicagoland since 1992. His practice includes all ages and all problems related to the foot and ankle. Although he has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures, 95% of his patients are managed with the latest non-surgical treatments.
Dr. Carr has shared his expertise in podiatric surgery by teaching state-of-the-art techniques to surgical residents who now practice all over the country. He has also taught continuing medical education courses at the nations largest podiatric conference.
Dr. Carr lives in Chicago with his wife and three children. He has remained an avid runner and cyclist for over 25 years.

Very impressed. I’ve had issues with my toe nails and feet for years. Saw another podiatrist last year, she was not as thorough as Dr.Carr. My feet have not felt this good in years. Very friendly and informative , as well as staff , and very clean and attractive office.

I really liked the way he and his staff handled themselves during my appointment. I had xrays and an ultrasound done and it was all done quickly and painlessly. I was recommended getting custom orthotic inserts, but i didn't like that they told me I only had 48 hours to decide if I wanted them or not. If you don't call them during that time and cancel the order, they automatically make the inserts and charge you for them. My insurance doesn't cover them, so I cancelled the order. I asked for an extra day to figure everything out because I knew I had a busy schedule at work and it would be hard to find the time to call my insurance and look into everything and get back to the office. I was told that the 48hr time frame was their policy and they could't make exceptions. This is their policy and that's fine, but I definitely felt rushed and wanted to make the best decision for my health while being as informed as I could be.

I don't know where to begin. I had a an accident while living in New York that left me in constant pain in my big right toe. It was agonizing. For two years I made the rounds of podiatrists, neurologists, sports medicine doctors and pain clinics. Nobody could give me a decisive diagnosis and prescribed topical creams and applications that did nothing. After moving to Chicago I sought out the best foot surgeons and chose Dr. Carr. He spent less than 20 minutes with me before diagnosing everything through an x ray and ultrasound that nobody in New York City had ever suggested. I am on my way to relief, in some way, shape or form, after two years of needless suffering. I cannot recommend CPS or Dr. Carr enough.
