About Dr. Thomas Federico
Our Medical Director brings 30 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Federico earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of San Francisco, then completed his medical training, earning his Doctor of Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After finishing his Residency in Family Medicine at Saint Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee?an affiliate program of the Medical College of Wisconsin?he moved to the land of Mickey Mouse and began practicing Family Medicine in Orlando, Florida. Over the next 25 years, Dr. Federico practiced in many different areas of Family Practice, including teaching Resident Physicians at Florida Hospital in Orlando, private medical practice, urgent care, occupational and injury medicine, pain management, and even cosmetic and functional medicine. On a side note, he has been singing in a number of choirs over the years and is currently a member of the Georgia Symphony Chorus in Marietta.
He brings to us 30 years of medical experience and looks forward to meeting with you and helping us care for your physical medicine needs.

The office staff are very friendly. I was impressed that the gal that opened the door and worked the front desk was very accommodating and outgoing with me.
I was disappointed that the appointment was made for 8:00 a.m. and I was asked to be there 15 minutes early (7:45 a.m.) and I was - but no one was there. The very nice lady showed up at like 7:55 - but I was expecting to fill out some paperwork and get right in. The actual doctor did not show up until like 8:40 and so being on time - early - and waiting is not fun but after all of that it worked out. The Doctor was great and the blood draw gal was VERY friendly. as were the balance of the staff.

I made an appointment with him after feeling helpless and he really listened to me and made me feel like my health issues will improve. Dr. Federico and his staff are very friendly and professional. He is an excellent communicator and a very pleasant bedside manner. He answered all my questions, and I felt comfortable the entire time. The front office is very spacious and bright. The office staff are also very friendly, and they answered all of my questions. I didn’t really feel listened to by him, it seemed like he was really trying to get me in and out as fast as possible. I don’t have insurance so I basically payed $200 to sit in a waiting room for half an hour, talk to him for 15 minutes and leave. The ladies in the waiting room were lovely so I don’t have anything against the place itself, maybe he was having a bad day, but still my experience was less than satisfactory. I usually only see female doctors for this reason.

It was my first visit so i had to fill out a bunch of paper work with a sinus headache. but once it was done every thing moved along pretty well. Dr. Federico was very compassionate in regards to the trauma I went through in my motor vehicle accident. He took the time to answer all of my questions and I never felt rushed. He was very clear about the next steps that I would need to take and what to expect on my road to recovery. He had a very thorough plan to present to me in regards to further testing, therapy and controlling my pain. I highly recommend him!
