Thomas Leach, RD

Dietitian
MI
"Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m a Catholic, a husband, a proud dad of three, and a graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Outside of family life, prayer, and game days, you’ll usually find me working one-on-one with people as a Registered Dietitian, helping them transform their health through the power of food. For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of guiding thousands of clients and patients toward stronger bodies, better energy, and more fulfilling lives. My journey into nutrition started on the track in high school, where I learned how diet fuels performance. That curiosity turned into an obsession when I set my sights on becoming a professional wrestler with WWE while at UGA. I devoured every book I could find on nutrition and training, became a personal trainer at the Ramsey Center, and dedicated myself to the process. Over time, I built myself up from 142 pounds to 215 pounds, earning WWE tryouts along the way. Wrestling didn’t pan out—but a piece of advice from Chris Kanyon stuck with me: “Stay in school and find something you love that can help others.” That’s exactly what I did. From there, I followed my now-wife to Indiana and launched my career in Clinical Nutrition. Over the years, I’ve worked in major hospitals, cancer centers, and health networks—experiences that shaped my expertise but also showed me where I could make the biggest impact: supporting people outside the hospital, where lasting lifestyle change happens. Since my UGA days, I’ve been coaching both in-person and online—first as a trainer, then as a nutrition coach, and now as an RD providing Medical Nutrition Therapy. Along the way, I’ve had to refine my own health and habits, just like I help my clients do. That’s why I believe so strongly that better health begins with your relationship with food. What you eat truly shapes who you are.
