“I loved this provider and the copay was less than expected. Unfortunately he felt my medical and mental issues were far too complex for their services and couldn’t agree to see me again. There is next to no one in my area that takes my insurance and is also well reviewed. I don’t know where to turn now and am highly disappointed and sad at the outcome.”

Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

It was apparent that the Dr. made up his mind on not taking me on a and patient but proceeded with the psych eval just to hit that 45 minute minimum mark for billing purposes. He basically said he would prescribe we SSRI's and thats .. but of course he respects my decline. I had told we he kept suggesting that med, that I have adverse side effects from the multiple I had tried in the past. I seen him for the purpose of needing a new doctor and treatment for my anxiety and ADD.. I even told him at the end I would be open to change my current medication if he felt something would work better... again he "suggested" me taking an SSRI and that he would send me a list of doctors as a refferal start ( again told him I waited months to find a doctor to have availability) and he NEVER sent the list.. unbelivable.. providers... can we rememebr these are people you are working with.. noy your pride or ego... just wow!

He was very well spoken and friendly, extremely knowledgeable with certain plans on medications; their effects and side effects. We went over a lot of past history, and overall he made it clear he wanted to go over all bases and make sure we went over any other issues.
