About Dr. Thomas Ragukonis

Board-certified in pain management, pain medicine, and anesthesiology, Dr. Ragukonis has acted as the medical director of Bergen Pain Management for over 25 years. But where did it all start? After earning his BA degree from Rutgers University and graduating Phi Beta Kappa, attending the Rutgers Medical School (UMDNJ), and completing his residency at the prestigious Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, he knew he was ready to make a difference. That’s when he developed Bergen Pain Management with a singular goal in mind. Emphasizing minimally invasive spinal techniques, he would make it into the premiere pain management practice New Jersey deserved.

The office wasn’t even open. I am handicapped so getting there was incredibly difficult. He is also unnecessarily biased against pain meds for proven chronic pain. Information I needed before bothering to show up. Please ensure this doesn’t happen again.
