Dr. Thomas A. Ullman is Professor of Gastroenterology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Ullman received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and trained in Internal Medicine at the New York Hospital followed by a GI Fellowship at Yale University. His clinical areas of focus include Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, other IBD care and colorectal cancer screening.
As a dedicated patient advocate and clinician, Dr. Ullman has been named a New York Magazine’s "Top Doctor" 5 times since 2011. He has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the New York Metro area continuously since 2009. Dr. Ullman counts among his greatest achievements gaining the trust of hundreds of IBD patients; contributing to the clinical science journey of the IBD community; and helping to launch quality-measure assessment in IBD through his work as Chair of the Professional Education Committee of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
Dr. Ullman has contributed to over 100 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact peer review journals. For his continued service to the Westchester-Fairfield Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (now the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation), he received the Suzanne Rosenthal Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2015. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology and is a frequently invited guest lecturer at conferences, grand rounds, and scientific meetings in the United States and abroad.

This was my first video "visit" with Dr. Ullman and I found him very professional, courteous, and understanding. This was a very simple and efficient process that brought back the days of doctors making house calls! I love it and will definitely do it again.
