About Dr. Thompson Maesaka

Dr. Thompson Maesaka (My-Uh-Sock-Uh) is a Minnesota native and doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. He received his training from Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he completed a hybrid track combined with over 1000 hours of specialized neurology training from The Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Maesaka brings a unique mix of experience into his therapeutic approach. He’s lived through the struggles of sports related concussions himself, and will readily share his experience living with a spouse suffering from migraines. His patients will tell you he’s deeply compassionate, understanding, and willing to listen to all of your concerns before giving advice. Dr. Maesaka is an active advocate for people with chronic neurologic conditions, frequently lecturing to help spread awareness for families and individuals struggling with complex conditions. His life mission is to collect all the knowledge so he can give it away to the people that need it. Outside the clinic, Dr. Maesaka enjoys playing golf, exercising with his wife, and playing in his band Flannel, MN’s premier 1990s cover band. He and his wife Theresa have a Corgi named Reggie, and a tuxedo cat named Beans, and will always share pictures and videos of them wrestling, cuddling, and generally being adorable.
