Dr. Tiana King, APRN, DNP

Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatry)
MA
Welcome, I began my healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant, and that foundation. This taught me to truly see and listen. It shapes everything I do today. As a triple board-certified nurse practitioner in Family Medicine, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Lifestyle Medicine, my practice lives at the intersection of mental health and lifestyle medicine. How we sleep, move, nourish ourselves, and connect with others is inseparable from our mental wellness, and I treat it that way. I offer telehealth services in Massachusetts. In the future, Florida, Colorado, Washington, DC, and Arizona will bring thoughtful, evidence-based care to patients wherever they are. Many of my patients have cycled through treatments that never reached the root of their pain. I practice from a neuroscience-informed foundation, drawing on Polyvagal Theory, Somatic approaches, Ego Parts work, modified EMD, and Developmental and Attachment-based frameworks. I work with survivors of childhood and complex trauma, C-PTSD, acute PTSD, medical trauma, grief and loss, racial and cultural trauma, and major life transitions — as well as veterans, first responders, and individuals living with anxiety and mood disorders. Your responses to trauma are not symptoms of weakness. They are evidence of survival. If you've done "the work" before and still don't feel free, this may be the approach you've been looking for.
