Getting to know Dr. Tiffany Haick

Applying a cognitive behavioral (CBT) approach, I work with clients to help them better understand and resolve the specific barriers that are keeping them from leading healthier, happier lives. I believe that a strong rapport between therapist and client is the most essential ingredient to a successful therapy experience. As such, I work to foster a safe, nonjudgmental, compassionate space where change is made and goals are reached. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from New School and completed both my internship and fellowship in Clinical Psychology at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center. I have extensive training in CBT and ACT and was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by the treatment's creator, Dr. Marsha Linehan. I use evidence-based treatments to help clients foster more effective coping skills, enhance mindfulness practice, change habits, improve communication and relationships, and challenge problematic patterns.

I've been seeing Dr. Haick for a few months now and feel that her insights are helping me to approach life from a better balanced mind frame. She helps me by asking me to think about underlying motivators for my behaviors, both good and bad. She comes at things from a very non judgmental place and makes you feel very safe and doesn't assign "homework" which I appreciate. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially those new to therapy and unsure of what to look for.

I felt very comfortable on my first visit - she was very likable and i felt like she really listened, was very supportive and asked good questions. I will be returning.
I've been seeing Dr. Haick for almost a year now and think she is wonderful. Her manner is caring and warm, and she more than listens--she responds, remembers, and makes recommendations. She has really helped me ease up on my own self-criticism, which has made a huge difference in my life.
I have been seeing Dr. Haick for a few months and can highly recommend her. In a short time, I feel much more secure in myself and am not paying as much attention to the self-doubt and terrible self-talk that i hadn't realized was on autoplay. I feel much more in control of my thoughts and emotions than i thought was be possible. I have a ways to go but feel very confident in my work with Dr. Haick.
First visit went very well and she put me right at ease. I feel much more hopeful and will be going back to see Dr. Haick net week.
Dr. Haick has been so helpful over the past few months and I am doing much better. Sh is smart, comforting, I trust her and I walk out feeling hope and lighter each week. I am a student, struggling with many anxieties and real life money things, and she has been flexible and made this possible.
    Great doctor, highly recommend.
Dr. Haick has helped me tremendously with the panic attacks that I've been having for the last several months and my overall anxiety is so much more manageable and in my control which it had never felt before. She is kind and smart, great office, such a safe space fo rme. I Highly recommend.
I've been to a few therapists and Dr. Haick is someone I feel really comfortable with -- A colleague referred me to her and described her as being at the top of her field which I couldn't agree with more. She is aware of all of the latest research and treatments and always has different techniques to try and for us to explore together. Dr. Haick is smart and compassionate and believes in me. She assigns really helpful homework (mindfulness exercises, tracking behaviors i am trying to change) that are making a big difference for me. I would highly highly recommend Dr. Haick!
Great doc. Has helped me through a very rough spell. I would recommend for excellent short term and problem focused treatment. I feel good knowing i can come back if life throws me more curve balls in the future.
Great non judgemental and no bs therapist. Was great considering I've had "wishy washy" therapists before but dr haick was great. I'm coming back next week.
Dr. Haick was very approachable, and very easy to talk to. I feel very comfortable on my first visit. She listens attentively and asks good questions. Very good first impression!
Really good listener and very insightful. I like the mindfulness stuff we have been working on. I notice a change in how i am dealing with everyday stuff.
Dr. Haick put me at ease from the start and made my first therapy experience much less stressful than I had imagined. In a short time, I've made great progress with some difficult issues. Highly recommend!
My therapy has been productive and very helpful. She has helped me look at my life, relationships and my behaviors differently & change problematic patters. I feel much more balanced!!!
She is great. I feel very relaxed (first time in therapy!!) and I am eager to continue with Dr. Haick. She broke the process down in a way that made sense to me and made me feel like I wasn't crazy. I feel a sense of relief when I leave her office. And the location (and office) is great.
I have been seeing Dr. Haick for months and cannot say enough good things about her and our work together. I have dealt with anxiety my whole life and recently some not great habits were getting out of control. With her support and guidance, I have been able to make some much needed changes and feel more calm and in balance than I can remember. My experience has been excellent, it hasn't all been easy and I'm sure wont be in the future, but I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Haick at my side right now.
I loved seeing Tiffany Haick. I thought she was very easy to talk to and really heard me. I believe she got it at the first meeting. She is funny and inviting. I would highly recommend.
